Enter the realm of the Gothic Songstress.
Llennett's music is an eclectic journey, blending grunge grit with trip-hop grooves, with a touch of pop, and a heap of rock. Stu from "The Chunks" & "Puppet Midnight" described Llennett as an "epic gothic safari," and you'll see why!
Lynnette plays most of the instruments on the self-recorded albums, from guitar and piano to flute while showcasing her powerful vocals. On the second album, the live drums are played by Mike McKenzie, and the bass guitar is played by the band's own Andy Durham.
The long awaited “Little Lion” was released on the 10th of May 2025 with a launch party at the Home Bar. For more information, click her for the Facebook event page. Don't have Facebook? Don't worry, it's all here on the gig listings page! For tickets for the event, click here.
Here is the album cover painted by Lynnette Cruickshank - acrylic on canvas.
The duo is composed of Lynnette Cruickshank on lead vocal and keyboard, & Andy Durham on bass guitar. Get ready to be taken on a bizarre and varied musical journey with Llennett.

Singer Lynnette started gigging with her previous band, "Storm in a D Cup" in '09. She then went on to form Llennett in '12, whether it was with a band line up, or alone with her trusty acoustic, "Willow."

"Battery Powered" is a dynamic debut album from Llennett that fuses the raw energy of grunge and rock with the infectious hooks of pop, the pulsating rhythms of electronica, and the atmospheric depths of trip-hop. This 12-track collection explores themes of vulnerability, resilience, and hope, resonating with anyone who connects with its emotional honesty. Exploring themes of going out alone, togetherness, suicide, childhood abuse and other fun topics!
Recorded entirely by the artist, "Battery Powered" is a testament to creative independance and a deeply personal milestone.
Notable tracks are "Villain," which at first listen appears to be a break up song, which it is, but not a romantic one, it details the break up of the singer's first band. And "GROW THE FUCK UP," - a self explanatory title, with a soothing intro that eventually rips into a roaring riff that'll make anyone's head bang.
When the genre changes from song to song, there's something here for everyone.
"Little Lion" is the highly anticipated 2nd album from Llennett, marking a return to the shelves after 12 years. This genre-bending collection of songs is a testament to resilience and inner strength, exploring themes of overcoming trauma and adversity. The album's title, "Little Lion," is a direct translation of Lynnette's name, symbolising the powerful core that emerges when facing life's challenges.
Musically, "Little Lion" is a diverse and dynamic experience, weaving together grungy textures, ethereal instrumentals, an atmospheric trip-hop-esque feel with both dark, broody moods and moments of uplifting energy. Lynnette's vocals have reached new heights, showcasing a powerful and experimental range, complemented by crunchy keyboard chords, soaring flutes, roaring guitars, and the incredible basslines of Andy Durham.
Standout tracks like "Stranded" and "Little Lion" offer a glimpse into the album's emotional depth and musical innovation, making "Little Lion" a compelling and deeply personal journey for listeners seeking strength and inspiration.
